Our Story and Mission
Cynthia Gutierrez has over 20 years of professional experience in Information Technology and Cybersecurity. She is an Hispanics Technology Executive Council (HITEC) Emerging Executive alumni.
She is certified in Information Security Management (CISM), Ethical Hacking (C|EH), and as Lead Implementer (CLI)-ISO-27001 compliance framework. She has a Masters in Information Systems Management, a Bachelors of Electrical Engineering, and has served as a mentor for three years as part of Women in Cyber Security, the Executive Woman’s Forum, and Foundations for C.H.O.I.C.E.
Eden has 3 years of experience in the Restaurant service industry. She understands what it means to work hard under pressure - on your feet all day - while managing customers to meet demanding needs and to provide a pleasant patron experience.
Cynthia and Eden have both been directly impacted by hurdles placed in front of them due to their gender and cultural affiliations. Cynthia has worked directly with many who have also faced such hurdles and she understands the method required to overcome those hurdles.
Laera Ashe & Eden, LLC. developed JobHack la Tecnica (JobHack Tech) to help improve the negative unemployment dilemma impacting Cybersecurity; leveraging diversity, equity, and inclusion in various specialties to bring forth a spectrum of perspectives.
Founded by Latinos, our mission is to give back to minorities through knowledge sharing, and by building intelligent relationships within every community. We want to empower every person we can reach to join the rapidly evolving world of technology in a way best suited for themselves. We invite individuals with diverse disciplines and backgrounds to bring their unique strengths in other crafts to serve as Information Security Ambassadors who will impact the future of technology.
